My Studio
Welcome to my studio.
I use a National torch with an OG15 oxygen generator and propane. All glass work is annealed in a F-120 Pyro Master kiln. I use Moretti (soft glass) for all marbles and beads and borosilicate (Pyrex - hard glass) for all sculptures and a few pendants.
I recently started to create fused dichroic pendants. My wife, Julie wire wraps pendants with sterling silver or 14 ct. gold wire.
The TV on my work area allows me to view training videos taped by other glass artists. The glass storeage unit is made from 2.5 inch pvc downspots purchased at your local lumber yard or Menards.
I recommend taking a class before investing in equipment. This can be a very expensive hobby and you should research all options before making the investment.
